Jun 17, 2014 · Personal preference. Surpised no one touched on the height. 110/100 vs 110/90. Thats a total of 10mm difference in sidewall. This could be perceived as an extension of your suspension. A lower profile always feels a bit firmer and sharper, where a taller will be a bit more absorbant but may wallow a bit more.

Nov 4, 2022 · They’re so committed to the dual sport segment that they have three separate models with nearly identical intentions: Tractionator Adventure: 25% Road - 75% Offroad. Tractionator Desert H/T: 15% Road/ 85% Offroad. Tractionator RallZ: 10% Road/ 90% Offroad. If I’m being honest, you can have a great time on all three.
Oct 20, 2004 · A 130/80 tire is 130 mm wide and (130 x .80 = ) 104 mm tall (or 4.10” tall). So 5.10 inches wide and 4.10” tall I had flipped height and width on the Metric example, standard inch sizes don’t give an aspect ratio because it is 100% as I originally said. FWIW I have never seen or used a “low profile inch” tire as shown in the link

Mar 15, 2015 · It's really more of an "indication" of size rather than an actual size. That said, a 110/80 will be about 8mm wider and 9mm shorter in diameter, which means the sidewall will be about 4-5mm shorter. The 110/100 will be about 8mm wider and 13mm taller with a sidewall about 6-7mm taller. The 120/80 will be 18mm wider, but just about the same height.

May 8, 2014 · Usually there are two recommendations, one for solo and one for two-up with only 1-2psi difference, usually higher on the rear. Varied tyre pressures have less to do with providing a cushion of air for support and more to do with heat. Tyres need to warm up to an optimum temperature where their grip level is high and wear is low.
May 12, 2009 · Vader19 wrote: Schwalbe Raceman 100/90-10 will fit with no rub. Michelin S1 will probably work too, as they tend to be thinner than Racemen. K58 & Weathermen will fit with a washer between the hub and the rim (the offset is negligible, insignificant) I've doen the Racemen, Weathermen, and K58's.. not the S1.

Oct 26, 2016. #7. bluto said: 100/90-19 is not an exact equivalent for a 4.10-19for example the popular Avon AM-26 Roadrider is not recommended for the stock WM2 rim (1.85") by Avon and the profile will be visibly pinched if you mount one (though many here have done it and lived to tell the tale). 90/90-19 tires are generally OK on WM2

Oct 6, 2005 · The second number is the height of the tyre (technical term is aspect ratio) and it is a percentage of the width. So the 80/90 tyre has a height of 90% of 80mm which is 72mm. The second tyre is 90/90 and therefore has a height of 90% of 90mm which is 81mm. Stock tyre is 80/100 which is 80mm wide and 100% of 80mm high, meaning 80mm high.
Jul 12, 2021 · The Anakee Adventure is definitely more an 80-20 or even 90-10 tire, considering how it behaves on offroad surfaces. It’s usable on dry dirt or light gravel roads, but it has strong limitations. Good longevity (15,000 km) Good grip on wet and dry tarmac. Hard compound is not designed to withstand performance riding.
Mar 5, 2010 · The Bridgestone Spitfire S11 shows a 4.6" width for the 110/90-18 and that was what we put on almost every middle weight bike back in the 80s. They didn't even make a 100 for the rear. Bridgestone themselves for a 71-74 Honda CB500K recommend using the S11 110/90-18 rear and 100/90-19 front, the bike came with a 4.00-18 rear and 3.25-19. I
